But that was great, i like how you ended it (even if i hoped it went longer) and the emotion you managed to get into the journal and the pity and regret you feel for the character.

I love it.

Wow! This is really neat. You had me going there for quite a while - I was really there with you - then you mention that "you" played a lot of video games...? I thought we were in the fourties. I guess nothing in the text suggests that but I think in your summary it says he's in an assylum during WWII doesn't it? Maybe I misread it.

IF your character is in an assylum in the early 40s than his childhood memories would be of the early 20s at the latest. He would be familiar with silent movies, not have known as a kid at least what a TV is, and certainly not understand the phrase "Video Games". :)

Other than that one thing this is really good. Can't wait to read more!
