I think I know what you mean by pretending to be white. Purity (of any sort) is a difficult topic because there aren't many examples you can point to. The use of colors to illustrate your purpose was very effective. Not at all bad for one who claims not to be a poet. :)

A stunning analogy between the elusiveness of purity and a melting Winter's snow! It seems as though you are alluding to the Sun as sin... What an original choice of imagery!
