It wouldn't let me leave a review for chapter 2 so I've done them both together, just to confuse things!
Chapter 2
I like seeing things through Daphne’s eyes. I think you have defiantly got a grip on her voice. I love some of the observations she comes out with, like the way she describes Jin-ho being drunk.
I really like Sevin as well – he’s a bit of boy, but really funny. Prefer him to Jason any way as he seems more real as a character – if that makes sense? Although it’s early days yet.
‘a Korean long hyme’ – Should be love, and hymn
‘matched the shirt I was waering’ – wearing
Chapter 3
Ok, I must have had a dopey grin on my face through the whole of this chapter. It was just sweet and funny and made me want to try boba.
I am really enjoying this, and it is very easy to read. Don’t think it was too long at all, it was fun to see Sevin and Daphne interacting.

Awesome chapter. I felt like Daphne totally redeemed herself in this chapter-and not only because everything that could have possibly gone wrong did. But because she didn't care about Sevin and Carla, which took a lot of self-security and self-esteem on her part...which she happened to lack through the majority of the story. Plus, sexy kiss at the end with Sevin makes it even better lol :D

Actually, I'm really glad you're have the parental unit be an active (if not main) character in this tale. It irks me when writers just shove the parents off to the side or kill them off just because it makes writing the story about the main character easier. However, you made the death of the mother an event in Daphne's past that is a part of her (not just something that happened), and you made her Dad be an assist to her making the be-all, end-all decision. =) I really like that. Though, you already know I'm a freak for this story. xD

I mean, honestly, Sacramento is a stupid city, anyway. Everyone knows the capital of California is really Los Angeles. Sacramento’s like their scapegoat, so people won’t bomb LA and ruin Hollywood. Yeah, sorry guys, you’re not fooling anyone. – This made me laugh. There are lots of funny bits in this story, but that was my favourite.
It was defiantly fast paced, and very easy to read. I found myself getting through it quite quickly. I like the way you drop hints about the physical appearances of your characters, but it doesn’t feel forced or listed. Mentioning Flo and Jia by bra size was good. I don’t have much of a feel for their personalities at this stage though. Although Daphne does come over quite strongly, although she also seems a bit manic! Not a bad thing.
I enjoyed reading this – and I like the title by the way and the synopsis. It made it sound fun, which it was.
