Honestly, Myrika, you are incredibly talented. Your writing’s better than some of the novels I’ve seen published. :) This has to be one of my favourite stories I’ve ever read online. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. I stayed up till three in the morning reading both versions of ‘Reason and Romance’. I was so sleepy today I nearly got hit by a bus while crossing the road. ;)
I love both versions of the story. I think ‘Redux’s ending tied thing up better than the original, which got a little messy. My only criticism is the beginning of ‘Redux’. I think you should have done a clean re-write instead of copying and pasting some of the original bits. It just seemed a bit strange, especially when you use ‘f**k’ in third person too much.
Other than those little things, this story is pretty much perfect in my eyes! :) I don’t read fictionpress often, especially multi-chaptered ones, but I couldn’t stop once I got into a few chapters. Your characters are very well developed, and, gosh, I LOVE Adrian and Alex. ;D

I've now read this story and the original and I'd just like to say that this is my favorite story of all time and it has made you my favorite author on this site.
I absolutely love your characters. They are so well developed and the concepts and ideas are just overall very well done.

So I read the original and LOVED it, then I tried reading "Trouble" before I realized you did the redux. They really are different aren't they? No Georgia and India in this one though? Kinda makes me sad...I loved Georgia in the first one! Anyway, just really wanted to say I love your stories!

So, I just finished reading Reason an Romance, the re-writen version.
I got to say, I haven't read the original one but now I'm definitly curious. I loved how you portrayed Alex as a real jerk, he doesn't redeems himself, he doesn't even has a reason for his jerkiness (haha funny word!).
This story is very realistic and Adrian's plots to get even at Alex show a truer personality than I've ever read in a character.
The parents were extremely selfish, I think maybe you put too much effort on their childish behavior. But it's acceptable.
Some time jumps would be a little confusing if not your notes. I mean, the beggining of some chapters don't always connect in regard with the timeline. I think maybe you got that opinion already 'cause I saw many question regarding which month or time of the year the action was happening.
All in all, I loved your story. I love a good taboo, especially family ones. Hi hi. Love the stepbrother cliche, and all the forbidden relationship plot, even though you kind of ignored that in here. Still.Great writing.

Loved it. Plot and characters were amazing. I had no idea how you were going to resolve everything in the end because of the complexity of A&A's relationship, but you did great. The ending was realistic, which is probably why I loved it XD Quentin was my favorite, I'm so glad for the sequel ;) Keep writing.

I'm really liking this story. The chapters I have read so far are very well written,and I like that you're taking your time to introduce everyone properly. Well I would make this longer but I'm off to read the next chapter. Really great story XD
