I've always been very interested by Charon. You've done a wonderful job here. The part with Hitler, as others have mentioned, is very amusing. You've made him very likeable and relateable. I'm envious. Exceptional work!

Love it. Really gives life to Charon (no pun intended). Kinda makes me look forward to the after life XD.
Just one sentence confuses me: "There are people that I enjoy ferrying older men who tell stories..." You might want to fix that.
Anyway, great story.

Man, Charon is cool. That's really funny, him ferrying Hitler and his mom across. It's nice and a little creepy at the end, but in the beginning we can relate with him. He's just your average guy, working long hours so he can buy a big tv to watch football on and a Dodge Ram to drive.

What an exceptional hook! From the very first sentences this piece promises to be funny, relatable, and a unique approach to Greek mythology and death. And even better yet- it delivers!
Your Charon is an intensely likeable character: one-part snarky complaining semi-slacker type, one-part wise, gentle, dedicated spirit-guide.
As a whole the story is a bit on the short side, but it still works. Super-short stories don't quite get the acclaim they deserve online, but that's only a matter of formatting. This is the sort of piece that positively *belongs* in a literary magazine or zine. A brilliant one-pager!

Fascinating concept. I think it would be great if it were fleshed out some, maybe into a complete short story. As it stands now it looks very... final.
