First and foremost, this is absolutely exquisite. Words can not come close to expressing just how much I absolutely adore this story so far. I love CODY just the way he is. Don't try to make him anything more or less than you've done already. Cody is perfection, utter perfection and the things he says and does and thinks are perfectly told. I absolutely adore Griffin too. Their interaction... well I'm completely enamored with it all very much.
Your dialogue is absolutely lovely, the plot line is wondrous.
For the record I currently hate Charlotte. Which just means that your writing as an author is touching the right emotions and the scenario is very plausible and just goes to show that even those who are closest to you and who are supposed to love you without question still they're flawed.
So yeah I've gushed enough. Thank you for writing such a lovely story thus far. I can't wait for the next chapter.

well,b4, i had only read the first chapter(because ive never really been here and can't get around well).However, now, i love the story! i personally prefer sydney(sidney? ah well). i still think you swear too much, but i'll live...

I'm writing this as an afterthought, but if you would like someone to discuss your story, bounce ideas and plots off or perhaps even proofread and give some suggestions to better, I'd be happy to help you.
Of course you'd still have to make the effort to actually write the story, but experience tells me that it's easier to work when you are able to share and develop ideas with others. Get back to me and we'll see what we can work out. =D

And yeah, I do feel that Cody is a TAD to girlish. The fact that he doesn't make much verbal protestations of being called 'girlie' could be one of them. And maybe he's just simply way too passive. I know he's supposed to be timid and stuff, but when you're backed into a corner or perhaps even fueled on emotions you probably would have a greater chance of 'blowing up', which may be what happened when he punched Griffin. But still, that one incident just gets overshadowed by his everyday behavior.
I guess it'd be nice to see him stand up to Griffin and maybe Tony, if provoked enough. While blushing is cute and all, doing it EVERY time Griffin touches him is just getting a tad unrealistic. Maybe some little form of struggle or protest of some sort.
Still, the plot has me hooked, and I do hope you would continue the story, finish it, and then perhaps go back and start rewriting it. I'm sure that'd be more productive in terms of your writing style and knowing what you're writing towards.
Again, I hope to see more of Cody's balls showing, both figuratively and literally :D, and perhaps some backbone would be nice too.

no way is cody to much of a girl! he is delicious the way he is! ha. but yeah seriously i like how cody is, anyway griffin makes up for all the manliness that dakota lacks. :) thanks for such a quick update! i think i need to reread the whole story again though, cos i think im reading it as a would a one-shot, if that makes sense (herm it doesnt really. oh well:/). anyway great chapter! gotta love dakota-griffin time. however i think i like sidney moore.

Aww. I really like this chapter! I'm glad we get to see some development into Griffin and Dakota's relationship. I think you made the situation believable and I like that Dakota is intersted in a serious relationship, and doesn't just jump in without looking. It seems a lot of stories have one guy just blindly going with someone who isn't really serious and it turns into a lot of drama and angst and it gets old. Your story doesn't do that, and I like how careful and bashful Dakota is. I like this better, with Dakota putting Griffin on the spot. Thanks for the update, I'm looking forward to the next :)

It's really sad that Griffin isn't ready for a relationship with him. It's actually quite depressing!
