It's nice that Lydia and Jay are getting along very well. I love Lydia and Leslie, they're like the cutest siblings ever. I mean they care and help each other when they're in need.
Well, I have a question. In the early chapters, there's no scene that Lydia gave his name to Jay. So, how did he know her name's Lydia?

I think it's Melissa and that Dominic might be in on it, too. A past in shoplifting? Hm.
Also, I don't think the girls should have to put up with their father's douchebaggery. The reactions of the girls aren't too credible. I would've thought the emotions would've been more pronounced and dramatic, especially on Lydia's part. And I don't just mean in instances where the girls' father is involved. I mean anytime they're experiencing strong emotions and situations.
Anyway, aside from all that I'm loving the story! Is Jay's hair colour blonde? Who was the girl in the photoframe? Does Jay live by himself? Can't wait to read more!
