It gave me chills.
I love the style, the imagery, the diction. Especially, 'red communist kerchief' and 'blush constellations'.

Beautiful, unique and powerful diction. THe vocabularly really enhanced this. The format was interesting, it could have stood alone as two poems, but together is even better.

"freckles dotted/her wan body/like blush constellations" i love that. the imagery in this poem impressively vivid. nice ending as well. it's got a nice sound to it.
