Very well written so far! I'm actually starting to become fond of Twitch and his...erm twitchy ways. Although I'm also greatly anticipating the romance (hint hint) between Steven and Arthur xD

I've reviewed before but... I decided to do it again. Since it was months ago, and I just read through this again. Well, technically this has to be the third or fourth time I've read this since I found it, but still :)

I caught some things that I hadn't before. Like the whole claustrophobia. I think I may have a (wrong, I'm sure) theory. Could it be that something happened to Steven once? Could it have anything to do with his last boyfriend he had 2years prior? Hm... maybe. Or, maybe it's something entirely, something he's just had forever.

Also, there's the promises. A part of me is thinking that maybe they (Arthur and them) aren't exactly... human. I might be wrong, but it's just really odd that those promises seem so binding (unless Arthur is the master with manipulation). Then there's the fact that at times it seems like they can read Steven's mind. Like Twitch went on about something Steven didn't say aloud, and then I think at one point Arthur did the same, by answering something. Then again, it could just be that they can read him easily by his expressions. But there does seem like something fishy is going on.

I've also been thinking a lot about Arthur's character. I've been trying to get in his head, to figure out him better (which is so damn hard by the way). But I've noticed was that he seems like he's doing things purposely. To me, it feels as if everything he does, everything others' do is for the sole purpose of getting Steven to think this way or that. Certain things he does around Twitch, his anger and then the way he's always doing things that make Steven flinch (as if to make him believe he might get hit for a moment). There's also the thing with Trenton. Wouldn't he or someone have heard Steven yelling? Or at least, wouldn't he know that Trenton was with Steven since Twitch knew. To me, it feels like he wanted Trenton to scare Steven, wanted him to know that Arthur had protected him (by making Trenton promise not to hurt him).

There's other things that make me suspisious too. Like the pills. The part when he said 'sweet dreams' and Steven fell asleep. The fact that he hasn't hurt him but acts so... insane. The knife scene, when he tells him to do it, do it (when we know full in well, that Steven would never do that). the fact that he was looking at his book (pretending to read).

Hm... okay, I'm writing so much. I'm probably so off base and so wrong. But that's the only thing I can come up with: Arthur is playing Steven to make him be his. Or at least to make him stay. Also, about the thing with the claustrophobia being something bigger.

Anyway, I'm not going to tell you to update, cuz I know you'll do that whenever you have the chapter ready. But I am going to say that I can't wait until we do get a chapter. this story is just so amazing. It's one of my favorites and I just hope you finish one day. Also, I wanted to do a fanart of Arthur and Steven, whenever I do finish (If I ever do lol) I'll send you a PM and everything. That is, if I'm allowed to do that... I don't know how the process is supposed to work but I noticed a handful of others doing fanart of this story and since I love it so much, I really want to do one of Steven and Arthur. It'll be crap since I'm not so great at drawing but I'll try my best.

P.s. Sorry for the killer long review. I like to babble. Plus I have so much questions and guesses over the motives and dealing of Arthur and this story. Heh. I hope I get answers soon ;)

Aww, poor Steven, what's going to happen to him?

And I'm pretty sure everyone's forgotten by now, but I wonder what happened to his brother, Lucas? Is he really dead?

Arthur also seems to be a VERY interesting character, your way of characterizing him is well, amazing. He's insane and all that, but at the same time, he's such a captivating character.

"Because, if that was the case, then who raped Cecelia?"

OHH. :O

Though I think I've said this before, you are an amazing writer.

Wow this story is definately different from the other stories I have read on fictionpress.

I really like it so far!

It seems like we get answers to our questions with every chapter but we also get more questions that we hope will be answered in the next chapter.

Are you ever going to update? I mean, geez, you've let everyone hanging for six months. At least put the story on hold or say in your profile why you haven't posted since then. It really is annoying that we have no idea when or whether ever your going to update again.

I'm not trying to sound mean, or harsh. I really love your story and I think you're an amazing author, I do. I just am a little disappointed that I got way into this story and I can't finish it. I have no idea why you haven't updated. No clue on whether or not you ever will, and I'd just appreciate at least a small reason, something.

And about the reviews? You've got plenty, begging for more is just stupid. Not all great authors have 1,0's of reviews. Some of them barely have a hundred and they're writing is still magnificent (and they still finish it, despite the number of critiques they get). So yeah.

Please either update soon, or explain why you've been gone for six months without anything.

Gosh. I'm starting to hate my luck. I think that everything I've read on FictionPress in like, the last three weeks hasn't been updated since 2008 or earlier.

Anyway. So. I think that the word "love" would be adequate to describe how I feel about this story. I mean. it rocks. It's amazing. Yeah, I love it.

I love, I think, that Steven has realistic reactions to the stuff that's going on. He doesn't start freaking out and screaming and yelling shit and trying to like, beat people up or whatever ('cause honestly, who would actually do that? If you're scared shitless... you probably just wouldn't. Maybe some people would, but most wouldn't.) and he also doesn't... I don't remember what example I was going to use as the other end of the spectrum. Whatever. he has realistic reactions. I like it.

I like that Arthur is so, I don't know, not really unpredictable but, I guess, just Arthur. And he has the awesomest name ever. And I just realized /right now/ that it didn't even make me think of Kind Arthur or Arthur the kid's TV show or anything when I first found out his name, or even for... the entire thing. Yeah. It's just his name. And it suits him.

And the plot is kind of twisted and weird and sometimes I feel like, "what's going on?" but then so is Steven so it's obviously not a bad thing. I love that kind of plot. Huzzah for not being predictable. And stuff.

And since I'm not very good at the whole review thing, that's just it, I guess. But. I love it. And it would probably make me worship the ground you walk on if you updated. Not that I actually know where you walk... that'd be weird.

And I think that, just like, I dunno, every author out there except the bad ones who think they're amazing, you're way too harsh on yourself. 'Cause your writing is great. Or I think so, anyway, and I'm kind of picky about what I really enjoy reading. I mean, I read everything. But there's very few authors who don't make me at least occasionally wrinkle my nose and think "why /am/ I reading this?" And I never once thought that while I read Blind Yourself. So. Just so you know. =)

Which makes me very sad. There should be more! :D

Alas, I feel this review is useless, for it has been many a month since its update. Cry.
