I saw that you updated a story and was wondering if you'd be updating this one anytime soon? I have been following this story for years, please, I'm begging you as a woman trapped in the desert, give me some water, please! Provide me fuel to go to the next tree (wherever that may be),I'll wait for you, as I have been, but spare the dog a bone every couple of years please hahaha

Hey Secretive, just wanted to see if you'll be updating this story soon? I know you said on your page that your worried the tone of the story will be different because you've changed as a writer but I myself would rather have a change than nothing. In the same vein, as a great writer, I think you have the skill to pull it off. I'd be happy to beta read and edit the chapter for you and let you know what I think (if you'd like that) but otherwise I don't think that should be what's stopping you from getting back to it (unless you have writer's block, then we're in the shit lol). I know you also mentioned the publishing issue but perhaps you could do like the others before you, finish the story on this site, go through and edit it (getting rid of the previous issue) add a twist or change it a bit and then go for it. Canid did that with her stories and I think it worked quite well for her.

Willa's character is a bit sketchy I think. She is supposedly a bitch but she is also quite the prude. Sex-talk makes her stutter and spew nonsense, it's odd for a young woman in college. Also, she doesn't have to take care of this guy just because she knocked him into a fountain, so I find her situation implausible. I don't know anyone, not even the most caring, who would practically babysit someone they don't like - even in they did fancy a shag, which Willa does not. Yet.

Alright, first of all I love love love that you have created a number of stories featuring colored protagonists. There aren't as many as there should so u rock for that. Plus, I looove Willa. I love the fact that she wants to be a therapist but she can't even figure out when a guy likes her-I find that pretty ironic. Oh, and I can't wait till we find out why she acts the ways she acts-there had to be an underlying cause to all that anger, right? Anywho, love the story gurl! Keep it up!
