Dang, that's deep! I've heard of the legend of the phoenix, but in the version I read, it always gets reborn after burning up in flames. You got a talent for poetry, that's for sure.

This was really nice, I enjoyed it a lot. The only thing I noticed that I would fix is a to vs. too typo in this line:
"Loneliness was too much too bare"
it should be "Loneliness was too much to bare"

I really thought this poem/story was very nice. Like you wrote in the summary that it was a story, that attracted me the most about it, and I'm happy that I read it.
I thought the many emotions that you portrayed in this poem was great and capturing.
