Aww dude ... I thought she was going to take the rose and cherish it. That's heartbreaking.
Amazingly written; I love the style. It's so unique. Poetic but ...fiction-ic, I guess. It's so interesting and it drew me in right away. I could scarcely look away [but for the boyfriend nagging me right now, I wish he'd just drop it, he's ruining the effect].
I will most definitely read more when I get another free moment... Wonderful work.

I like this. Your writing style is meandering and a little off-topic sometimes, but in a way that adds an element of spontaneity, rather than detracting from the overall piece.
And I do like the way it ends. I was expecting a happy ending, too. But this is better. This is real. This is how people treat each other. The best authors are the ones that revel in truth. You seem to do that in this piece.
The only thing I'd do is make the ending a bit longer, give us a reason for the girl being so mean. Maybe she doesn't feel she deserves to be loved, or maybe she's just rude. That's the only resolution I want to see.

This story was very... interesting. First the way you typed it. I'm thinking it was some kind of poetry. You know, kind of like shakespeare without the crazy words. Had a cool story. Kind of curious about the girl. Is she based on someone or a girl you just made up and described in this story?
