I like that this is blunt and isn't melodramatic, but at the same time, Essy's narrative always brings up little details in things you might not think about. The only thing is I would've liked to have seen the whole brother thing play some more significant role than just an excuse for the girls to meet. Overall though, good story- very realistic and bluntly clever.
