I don't even know what to think anymore. I think Noah's drunk/ sober moment confused me.. then I thought that maybe this Jake fellow was the guy that Ruth talked to her friends about.. but then I dunno. Her response to him spreading rumors about her was a bit understated.. I dunno. I'm really looking forward to what the next chapter will reveal though. It's really amazing. Every chapter in your story packs in a lot of information and consistently moves the story forward. There's never any fillers which is super nice. ^_^

YAY an update! So happy! I DOn't like Jake at all, but I think its terribly sweet that they are all trying to protect her.

this chapter was really really great. You dealt with a lot, and really well too.
Im seriously torn now between Issac and Noah. Before I was almost certain that she should date Noah... now im not too sure. I still love Noah (his such a great character), but at the same time... Issac is so much more (and deep) then i first thought of him. His come along way from just a bastard! Especially with the way he acts and is portrayed in this chapeter.
I think I still like, and want, Noah and Ruth to get together.
Looking forward to reading more...can't wait to see more of the after effects, and well the rest of the boats journey.

I really enjoyed your story so far. I'll admit I was skeptical at first and loosing intrest but I'm so, so glad I stayed to read the whole thing. Once the plot got going and the character's became more established (especially Ruth) it was much more riveting. I like that all of Noah's friends have a role that they play, it's quite interesting. Looking forward to more! ^_^

Ok, So I thought it was a pretty good chapter, I liked the characters and the general plot line thing you have going on, although there were a few things that probably might need to be re-thought.. ok, so it got a bit confusing after awhile because there were no page breaks or anything, so when like, Ruth was talking to Noah and then suddenly she's in her room alone, it's kinda like, 'wha?', so some form of page break would be good. Also, the fact that like, two weeks or something passed in just this chapter, the whole time thing was hard to keep up with as well. Also, pretty much the whole chapter was dialogue, so although we did find out about Ruth through her interactions with everyone, we didn't really get much background on her through her thoughts.
But yeah, that's pretty much all that I found confusing or whatever, but becides that, twas quite good.

I'm not quite sure how hepatitis works or why Ruth doesn't drink, but I was really amazed by the way she comported herself even while being drunk. And I'm getting the feeling that Isaac actually does like her and that he probably backed off her for some reason. ooh.. I'm so interested in seeing we're this is going!
