I loved this, truly loved it. The only thing that threw me off a little was the change in form in the 5th stanza; I would have preferred it to stay in the same form as the rest. Still, it doesn't change what you're saying or how eloquently you've said it. It just reads beautifully.

This is so beautiful. I absolutely adore it. I can barely articulate how well written, eloquent and moving this truly is. The ending is perfect, the shock of the addiction and the quiet butterfly-floating-away-esque apology at the end. I feel like I know him and yet see him from a kalidescope; twisted, fragmented (to use your wording) and tragically pieced together to make an impression. But that's the catch. This really does make an impression. Of him, of you, of the nature of human relations. I hate to be cliche and whip out the old "you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone," but I can't help but feel that you summed that up in six phenomonal stanzas.
On a side note (which feels sort of tacky, actually) I'd just like to say that I have not been on fiction press in ages, but your comments were so sweet and intelligent, I actually logged in just to return the favor. Thank you so much. And yeah, everything I wrote is true. I hope you can testify the same. I'd be disappointed if this wasn't real, though I'd definately commend your imagination.
Anyway, I might post more soon, if I do, I hope you'll find it equally pleasing. My style is more "It's Not So Hard To Be A Hero," now. Hmm. Who knows..?
And also, I saw Spiderman last night (the first one) for the first time (I was a fan of the comics and cartoons) and WOAH. It's bad how obsessed I am. Unfortunately, Spidey is a total metaphor for my ex. Bummer. Hah that's the way it goes, I guess. The new guy is Superman. I want to post about him, but I'm afraid he'd get the hint. Don't you hate awkward, creativity stifling things like that?
But yeah, keep it up. I can't wait to read more.

So... It was really Howard Jones who said no one is to blame. Lol. I love that song. Yes... I got through the first couple parts of the poem but I had to say that before I finisged reading it, so I guess I'll finish reading it and just say that what I read so far is good or something. :)
