Uh, wow. You sound pretty religious. Well, neither of my parents are religious, and I've never gone to church, so this kind of stuff is hard for me to swallow.
I do think that faith is essential, but I lean a lot more towards having faith in each other, and in ourselves. In fact, I think this kind of faith is at least as important as faith in God -for me, even more so. I don't think you can just be faithful and then expect everything to end up well. Faith may be a driving force, but it is certainly not the only one.
As for God, well, I don't know if He exists or not, but I do know that religion is a huge driving force for a lot of people. It would be pretty stupid for me to say that He doesn't exist, because I don't know if He does or not!
Anyway, you've given me something to think about- even if I don't agree with what you're saying. Keep writing! Your argument is good, but use more logos! :)
