Just In
for Plato’s Republic: The Unjust Soul

Just to point out: While Plato did use the word King, he did not mean our definition of King in the sense of monarchy. He believes in the leadership of the Philosopher Kings, who are able to look into the world of the forms (refer to metaphysics of plato, I forgot which book).

He also believes in the harmony of the three parts. In the soul, the tree parts are Spirit, Appetite, and Reason. In the State (mostly known as the Republic) there should be a harmony between the peasant class, the auxilary, and the philosopher King.

Plato mainly uses the 'happiness' of a just soul as a reason to why people should follow his ideas in the Republic. Good essay though.
