My favorite thing about this story (and it was hard to choose just one) must be how believable the characters were.

A lot of authors would've had Luke just fall into Ally's arms, I think; but that would hardly be realistic. I understand why both he and she acted the way she did, which makes them seem like much fuller characters, and more sympathetic, as well.

You cried while writing this, I cried while reading it.

They had such a great friendship... and just a few words at the wrong time tore all that apart.

Really, really effective. It's still making me think...

Also, that subtlety where Ally jokingly tells Luke she can't be having him die on her in the beginning? Amazing.

Aw. This was sadd... :(... Can't believe he shot himself over a girl! It's soo sadd... ANd he kicked her out when she told him about her feelings... Oh well. Suppose he had a good excuse? I like the way you wrote this with the flashbacks, btw. :D

That was so sad. It almost made me cry, but then again, not many things make me completely cry.
