Now I know why Lilly reminds me of you; 'cept for a few details.
Every teen has these monsters, about time someone wrote about them.
It just came to me; the fire could be symbolic for not listening to the monsters anymore.

This was really interesting. I don't know why but I thought that the "monsters" were her parents. I suppose it was because sometimes parents can be their kids worst enemies. They tell you what to do, how they think you should dress, who your friends should be and so on, much like the monsters. Peer pressure also came to mind as I was reading. All and all, I liked it. It's something I don't usually read. Good job!
