Yes! I'd love a cookie! (Had one yesterday from Subway... chocolate chip, yum) I'm glad you like my rambling. I'm too easily distracted, the mind flits from topic to topic. I've had too much coffee today. Anyway...
Sellin drugs? Yeesh, when's life gonna give Jayden a break? Poor guy... and I have to say, that lil' synopsis of his life is rather... dismal. Fun, as Jayden would say it.
Yech, Charlie strikes again. Y'know, I'm beginning to favour castration myself, as a means of homicide. Cut off his balls and 'forget' to clamp the arteries. *evil grin* But that's just me expressing my dislike of him...
What do I think of Corbin? Undecided, as yet. Bit more fleshing out required, I think. I hope he doesn't begin a triangle of 'like' with Jayden and Seaton - in my own little mind, Jayden and Seaton reign supreme! *waving flags* They're just so cute! Besides, Jayden's already kinda hooked on Seaton already. So no need to worry. I hope.
Ah, Seaton and his glare... *melting* I've been told I posess a good glare myself, from my (ever SO lofty) stature of five foot and a bit. But in reality, there's a core of marshmallow in there, if you just poke around a bit. Soft and sweet. I suspect the same is true of Seaton. This is Jayden's task: to expose Seaton's inner marshmallow! Woot!
Y'know, the bookworm t-shirts would be very fun... I remember doing a Physics teaching competition in my school (yes, I know - N.E.R.D) where you had to talk about a physics topic - and we had t-shirts with 'Bright Sparks' and a lightbulb on it. Electrostatics. So cheesy. But t'was fun anyway... went to all-country competition and won an mp3 player (who is now named 'Square pebble') for getting 2nd place. We just HAD to lose to Radiation, helpfully explained with tin foil and hats. Grr. *not bitter AT ALL* [Major rambling there]
Suffice to say: I'm loving this story. And you update REALLY frequently! *impressed* But they're gratefully recieved! Thankies! Get typing on that keyboard! *boogying to the good oldies* ^.^

Im so glad you updated quickly! wow. what an awesome update it was too... and I meant stories with all the baggage in them. But this is the first stoy that I've seen it done really well. Reading this, I think all of that baggage and angst adds to the plot so much. and I loved corin, though I like seaton way more. Its so disturbing about charlie. man... and I hope his father dies. I can't believe he would ask his own son to settle his debts... I mean, his father is a terrible guy but man! thats a whole different kind of low. just wonderful writing. Keep it up. ps. kudos for your way of letting us know whats going on in jayden's head... i think that makes his character so much more loveable... i just want to give him a big hug.

OMG! that was amazing. I am so looking forward to more seaton! I never really got into stories like this, but this is so amazing that I think my views on the subject have changed so much and its all thanks to you. wonderful job. Im so in love with your main characters. I CANNOT wait for your next update. you always make them so good :)

Have I reviewed this before? I can't remember. I've been reading it for a while and I really like it. I'm just a lazy bitch. So... sorry that I haven't reviewed before now. The story is progressing really well. I like Seaton and I hope he beats the life out of Charlie.

Oh dear, I want to give Jayden a hug... he's a teenager, of course he's gonna be confused... poor guy though. He's had such a lot of shit thrown at him for such a long time. And then he has to go and blame himself - *huggles Jayden* Silly boy.
*urge to kill Charlie and Alfred rising dramatically* Charlie's disgusting. And yes, if I was able to read that without being disturbed, well, I don't want to know what kind of person I would be. I get the fact that the title's got a whole load of metaphorical and literal things going on... ach, have to laugh (random thought striking) - A friend of mine thought that the whole 'I'll never let you go!' bit in Titanic from Rose to Jack (even though, ironically, she DOES) was just literal, never metaphorical. Silly numpty. I laughed at her for a wee while after that. Sorry, completely off point, but there ya go...
Have I mentioned how much I frickin' love Seaton? He's one hell of a cool guy with a good heart underneath. And so perceptive. But yet, with the crusty, gruff exterior of a bad guy. *sigh* And a damn good glare. What more could you ask for?
More chapters possibly (insatiable bookworm here), although your updates are pretty frequent, so it's all good! Few typos in the chapter, but that's ok...
Y'know, I would actually organise a ritualistic burning of all CD's with that song on it. With bonfires and fireworks. T'would be lovely. But, seeing as I'd end up in jail for arson, I think I'll settle for soothing my ills with Aerosmith... 'Janie's Got A Gun' just makes me want to get my groove on. Rhyme not intended.

And not much mention of the girls in this chapter. I didn't mind though, More Jayden and Seaton action instead :P
Lol my cousins recently found out I liked slash, and they were like "But they wouldn't like you back! Why would you like them?" So cute. They're around 10 so yeah. Little kids: If someone says they like someone, it means they 'like' them.
