Interesting. This could refer to one person or to men as a whole. I personally think it's about a single one man, but I didn't write this, so who knows? Anyway, I thought this was well written and I did enjoy it. It felt disjointed, but in a way that worked for the haiku.

a really cohesive haiku, all the parts work together well to create a very clear idea of the 'he' you are describing. makes me think of drowning and self-destruction. cool - I like it a lot. cheers.
