Aw! Wow, your goldfish lived for eleven years? That's wonderful...and probably even longer than some dogs and cats will live! My beta fish is six years old. This lovely peom makes me realize just how many secrets I've fed him (I hardly ever remember to feed him his flakes).

I love this! I know exactly what you mean about a fish watching you grow up-I know my fish has seen a lot of my moments, I'd be devastated if he died-and you made me realize it, haha. Either way, very well written, very heartbreaking, even about a fish.

wow i never knew something so heart breaking could be about a goldfish and its ironic because my fish just died too :( anyway awesome job! ( and i am sorry because even thougha fish isn't like a cat or dog its still your pet)

dude! i really, really love this. i didn't think i would, from the summary, but it's awesome!
it reads like a story but flows like a poem. some really great lines in here- i loved the transition between hair and sexual orientation
