I knew something about the Irish comig to the States. Reading this essay I found it to be just like the Italians who went to my ancestor's home, Argentina. That coined the phrase "Mexicans descended from Aztecs", Peruvians descended from Incas and Argentenians descended from Boats. Yes, millions of Italians, Russians, Greeks, Spaniards, Germans,Lebanese and others. All escaping hunger and famine by the boatload, and most "They made it in America" and made Argentina a Great Country!

I came to the United Statas of America escaping a Dictatorship inn my native counry, Bolivia,and "Made it in America". Sixty Years here and the seesaw of being poor to become rich, then broke (not poor), witness to war in foreign lands serving my American employers, seeing the change of America from legal segregation to Obama President! All justify putting it in what I hope will be short stories or a book about "My Great Adventure, Sixtry Years of an American Dream" Stay Tuned.
