Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I assume this is from personal experience. I have similar issues. A best friend who promises the impossible but means it and will be with me even if he can't actually be with me. Only recently the tables have turned, I now realize all of this and will be with him through everything even if I can't be with him...for he's now semi-happily taken.
