I love how the tone created by the poem changes so dramatically through out - you write in such an involving way that I feel like I share your opinion (which I do to be honest because my favourite teacher died in 2006).
I haven't read many poems about a year as a whole like this, but the concept fascinates me and this was fantastic.

Rembering my 2006 was great!
Yah, so those were my favs! I LOVED them all. U r an amazing poem-dude! lol! and I just got home today, so we should hang out sometime BEFORE school starts *gag*!
