Just In
for Scribbles on the Walls

I went into this without any hope for a well-constructed story, having trawled through oceans of sub-par material in my search for something entrancing.

I'm still not sure if I found it.

The setting was vague and slightly irritating in that. The sentences, to a metaphorical man, were bitten off, somewhat forced. At first, I didn't like this. Later, it added to the suspense.

The basic concept shown...well, I'm still not entirely sure what it was. The whole thing feels like a chunk taken from a much larger, more interested whole. And I'll confess, I would like to read that whole. But somehow I know that it would lose all meaning if you spelled everything out.

I read it to the end. That's a good enough review in itself.

I usually don't read original fiction (unless it's slashy goodness, or sounds really funny) but this intrigued me. It's very good, I like the concept presented.
