Beautifully told. You tell this tale just like a Bard would.

I'm wondering though - why call it The Poison Fiddler? Just because he/it rises from noxious fumes? What's the story behind this individual? And why would he play on after the patrons had 'left'?

I'd be interested in seeing more of this. You write very well. Good eye for detail and fantastic storyteller.
