Nice, do you mind if I leave your friend a review then? I was guessing it was supposed to be 'ember' and not 'amber' but I could be totally wrong and wouldn't mind a correction. Anyway, it was really good, it felt like it came from the viewpoint of a smoker and felt very lucent, almost like a very realistic dream. Tell your friend to keep writing, they definitely have an eye for poetry and vivid imagery.
