The Warhounds sound interesting.
I really loved Derek. When Jaz's teddy started to fall I was certain she'd lost it... and no little girl should lose their teddy bear. Him picking it up and holding it so she wouldn't drop it again sold me completely on the story. Can't wait for more!

This is a surprisingly good chapter, regardless of the spelling and grammar mistakes littered about. I'm starting to think you've already somewhat developed the plot and that makes me happy. Always better to have things planned out, you know?
