Alexis, that story was so sweet! And here's the thing- your writing here was /masterful/. The wording fit perfectly, vividly, and it all flowed. I read it out loud and sounded like an old-time radio narrator. Just... fantastic stuff, here.

I think I had one criticism... but what was it? Maybe I'm just used to a person's point being slapped across my face. My style is pretty on-the-nose.
