i stumbled upon this after typing the title of my story into the search engine, which has similar qualities to my piece.
but anyways, i really enjoyed the psychological conflict between your character and the one she loves. although you mentioned one sided...it almost has dual qualities for both unrequited lover and protagonist. is there a story behind this? if so...i would enjoy reading it.
