I think it's quite humourous, Elvis sounds like he's not in control of his own life. It seems like evrybody runs it for him, and he simply sits back ands agrees or disagrees with it, but he doesn't say much.
There was a lot of dialogue in this chapte, more so than any of the others I think, but it was still as interesting.

I've been trying to get the chance to read your story, but with working, college and other people to review, I've finally made it.
The beginning of this was quite interesting, I wouldn't have expected that they would get angry because Ginger went shopping for them, I would be more worried that she plans on getting it by doing things.
The reason that Ginger fits into th efamily is she's just as odd as them. Wow, she didn't have the sense to go somewhere else with the cashier... And it may be me, but I fail to see how the cashier's going to help her get the groceries she needs, she should've messed with one of the managers.
""oh by the way, do you want white or potato bread?"" Okay, that would've made me feel sick to my stomach. It's strange how she threw aside the fact he'd just seen her giving someone head.
There are a few typos in this chapter, but every person has them. The chapter was nice in a unique way.

You were right this story is humourous in a unique way. It's quite funny that you had it he actually wasn't dead but sleep on the bathroom floor.
And the second chapter had a lot more humor in it, I think.

Heh, I love Elvis is still alive type stories. I can only hope he has to defend a retirment community from a mummy at the end of the book..."fingers crossed"
