lat stanza is the best,

I love the title. Your wording is very creative, and does a great job setting the mood. The last stanza is my favorite, but the whole thing is quite stylish and beautiful.

Long live octoberunderground!

I heart this poem! The comparison of pumpkins to lovers, of winter's icy kiss to shredded cardiac fibers, of knives to enraptured obssession.

. . . And yes, please feel free to kick and/or pwn Poe. Anytime.

effing brilliant- love this love this love this; the overall idea and the way you piece this together puts me in bliss (haha)

This makes me remember what it is about fall that I love so much - the whole warmth of loneliness, if that makes sense. (Of course it doesn't; I never make sense.) The title is pure gorgeous, and if this poem had a color, it would be orange, for sure. This is beautiful, as always. Keep writing! :)

A very thought-provoking if morbid analogy to a jack-o'-lantern. I like it, especially the last verse. Take care.
