Part of me wanted to like this and part of me knew exactly how the other was manipulated to think so.
A lot of the stuff here isn't particularly insightful, just made to seem so with a wide array of words that you don't usually see in Fictionpress poetry.
It's not a bad poem in and of itself, but when compared to other poetry out there, it's pretty obvious that there's really nothing in this poem to set it apart from other poems like it; even the imagery is pretty generic.

VERY nicely written. I especially loved the "orgasm crime" part. Makes me think of rape for some reason. Oh yes, and it IS VERY Manson influenced *nods head* you were right about that.

Really good... I can definately see alot of Holywood (in the Shadow of the Valley of Death) influence. Keep writing, awesome work!

AH! I love it! It is true, all of it, and it is written. Everything Manson has ever been blamed for, or even did, it on there. Everything he tried to teach his fans, it there! Seriously, post this on MMDN (marilyn-manson.net), let me see if they like it as well as I do. If your not a Manson fan you should be, because you understand something many people do not, the thing Manson taught us. It is something barly spoken yet always in the air. For those of you who've not understood what I am talking about, listen to Marilyn Manson, read about him, you'll find just like I did. I am not sure if Lucid Obscurity is a fan, but he sure acts like one, and seems like one.

I would be lying if I didn't say that the poem wasn't a little disturbing to me, but harsh truthes normally are. I can see what you mean when you say the ones that do the preaching never do the work and instead leaving it to the followers and the ones that claim to be the most truest are the ones that turn one you. Things revolve so much around the media is true, very cool, very real poem.

brilliant.. has to be one of my fav. poems too. "The joke's on them, baby," wow, scary how many times ive said that... well this is a kick ass poem (anger good... heh heh) I really liked your bio... Makes me want to put some worth while crap in mine. well done, well written. yeah.. wont waste time any more. me like thats the end of it. kepp it up and stop rating so hard. WAY too mild for the harsh rating.
