I thought it was really sad, They destroyed the thing she loved the most. I liked how at first she was never really noticed and it seemed she was lonely, turns out she was never there at all.

That's so sad. I got little shivers on the back of my neck... beautiful prose, Alex. Truly.
I loved the ending and I loved how it was built up... and how she was never there. So sad and so beautiful.
