What I got from this poem besides chills, was a sense that there is a world or a life within art forms, like books and paintings and that in the Fall, usally seen as a time of death and decay that this life is gone. And that the narrator is reflecting on the life that they had witnessed in the past, and commenting on how dissapointed/frustrated they are that none one else, saw or will see this wonderful image.
But I could be thinking too deeping into things.

I like it. I think that perhaps, there is a deeper meaning than what I interpreted, but my brain is going through a hazy phase right now and I can't put a finger on it. Nice job.
