I haven't been on Fiction Press for a really long time. On the way I've grown up. haha my stories sucked. I looked at my reviews and I saw how helpful and encouraging you were to me, even though I really sucked :D! So I decided to look at your stories. I read your profile (HOLY CRAP THAT IS AWESOME YOU ARE GOING TO PUBLISH A BOOK!) In this poem I can relate, lately I have been through some hard times and it hurts. That's what is great about writing. So almost every night recently I've written a poem about my pain. I've only posted one so far. I'll post the other ones later. You are a truly gifted writer. Keep on writing! YOU ROCK!

I like this poem. A lot. I can really relate to it. It does a very nice job illustrating the thoughts and emotions that run through one's head a million miles per hour after a loss. The repetive 's' and 't' sounds really add to the feeling of the poem. The short lines starting in "And I can't keep up" add to the rushed, panicky sense that you want to just escape reality, but you can't. I also like the long "i" sound in shortly after that "why, cry, cried, tried." The repetition almost seems desperate, like crying.
