Simply honest.
I've been in this situation SO many times.
You have that perfect cliched moment. You're right next to them, and you stare into each other's eyes and simply get lost in adoring each other. And you think of how badly you desire to tell them just what they mean to you, but you can't. You can't express in words how they make you soar. And then you go home, cry and write about how you couldn't tell them.
The situation sucks, but it makes for good poems.
I really did like this poem though.
