Awww, this second chapter was cute. I really like the twist with Brandon, how isn't of a jealous ex-girlfriend, it was a jealous ex-BOYfriend. Awesome.
AND I FORGOT A REFERENCE FROM THE PREVIOUS REVIEW! D: So, allow me to continue here:
10. Scraps, who is from Corpse Bride.
Okay, not that THAT has been fixed...
I did really like the interaction, but I would've liked to see some more with Brandon. Somehow, he doesn't quite seem the type to give up so soon. Like, maybe how Jack got him out (though I understand this is from Sally's POV and thus, would make that incredibly difficult to protray in this chapter) or maybe a separate chapter showing months later when Brandon eventually DOES give up.
Or maybe the wedding :D I dunno, I just want mooooore. ;_;
I really hope you get the urge to write more, just putting that out there. 3

Ahhhh I loved this! :)
Truth be told, I should've reviewed this AGES ago, but I was lazy and I wanted to see if I caught all the references before I reviewed. I absolutely adore Tim Burton and TNBC is definitely one of my favorites. :D
I was ridiculously excited when I saw this and even more so when I read it, because you managed to get everything right. Kudos!
And I really have nothing negative to say, whether it be grammar or spelling or content. I think it's perfect the way it is.
Okay, so, references.
1. The ending line, referring to their duet at the end of the movie.
2. Sally's premonition, which ends up with the mess in the kitchen and meeting Jack.
3. Jack's hair, it refers to his Jack-O-Lantern head.
4. Zero. Obviously. :)
5. Aha, Jack and Jill, though that kinda has nothing to do with TNBC, it refers to the nursery rhyme.
6. Okay, the fat lady, is she the zombie-like woman in the movie? One of the civilians of Halloween Town?
7. The outdoor Christmas Tree refers to the Christmas Town door, maybe?
8. The raucuous Christmas festivities relates to the Halloween Town's crazy interpretation of Christmas-time.
9. The "Sally, i that you?" and reply of, "Yes, I'm here!" is mimicking the conversation between Sally and the Professor in the movie.
Hmm...did I get them all? :D

Hey hey! Abosolutely ADORED the first chappie! Liked the slight forray into Jack's past.. but somehow i felt it wasn't explored enough.. i mean Brandon sounds typically diabolical and all out to seduce Jack back.. still feel edges for the couple.. BUT! All in all i LOVE all of your work :)

That was absolutely adorable! Both parts. I had fun reading them. I thought the connection in chapter 1 was a bit abrupt, but it makes sense. Nice job!

Interesting. It's something you don't see often, the ex-boyfriend versus the girlfriend, haha. I don't like this as much as the original, yes, but I still like this. (: Awesome writing again. (:

Very cute. I'm afraid I didn't catch any references, besides Zero and of course, Jack and Sally. (: It's well-written and the emotions are heartfelt, though I do feel a bit like they fell in love too quickly.

Yep, I definately liked this a lot too! Interesting, I must say. I read the challenge first, and I wasn't sure how you were going to do the gay thing, but you did it nicely! I applaud you.

AH! *jumps around like a happy hyperactive little kid on a sugar high* THAT WAS AWESOME! I did note a few grammar mistakes, but WHO CARES? TNBC, i never would have guessed. I got the DVD for Christmas and now I feel like watching it again before I go to bed, but I'll do it tomorrow when I don't have to get up for school the next day.
Jack and Jill, wow. And the dogs were awesome! xD OMGOMGOMG, I lOVE IT! *glomps*
So it was late, you couldn't have posted it at a better time. I needed a pick-me-up badly today. Mucho kudos!
