Awh, how sweet. It's funny how Aki is confused by all the people around her acting weird. Now that you've put reasons behind Yukimaru's behaviour, it does make a bit more sense. I don't know if it's just me, but I felt like Yukimaru was a tad bit too evil and indifferent in the beginning - and even the drastic change now couldn't justify his actions in the past. Not the hitting-kissing thingy, just how you described his smirking, and looks. Like he intentionally wanted her to be pissed. Am I making sense? If I'm not just ignore it.
Yukimaru is definitely trying hard to mend things now huh?
I like the fact that Aki doesn't cower away under his glare.

Okay, I found a few grammatical errors, but if you read it, it's fine. :) and I love this chapter! It make me really want to read more! I don't think that they're out of character, because they're developing their characters for the readers. I like the idea of Yukimaru being nice on the inside :D it makes me want Aki to go with him. lol but maybe not? I can't wait until the next chapter!

Good chapter and story so far. I can't wait to see what both Ai and Yukimaru turn out to be. Also, even though he was really mean to her, when he said "Soon you will be mine" makes me think that he wants to be with her (lol), that could be why he offered to have her be his girlfriend. Now I'm on to read the next chappie. XD
