i love this haiku, i like 'open windows' instead of doors(which you could've written) cuz if you think about it, windows could talk about flying, i just liked that.
and i think the idea of windows to the past is great! good beginning to your collection! :P

I like this. I think it's a really interesting simile. I've never heard picture frames described like that, but it's very fitting.
The only thing is the last line. The phrasing seemed off a little to be. It sounded awkward when I read it out loud.
