haha I'm on PH but I was just wandering around FP too see what was up and I forgot about this update. Then I read the thing about Qwerty, then I read Qwerty's comment and I could help but laugh when she said she wasn't a coward because she reported anonymously. You'd think she'd be intelligent enough to understand that when you go and insult someone to their face and don't have the ovaries (haha) to own up to it because you'll "be reported" then you're a coward. You know you're not supposed to be doing that, yet you do it, anonymously.
Whether or not you, Kendal, got plagiarized doesn't really matter. You have the right to take this down for fear of plagiarism.
And I don't understand her premise that because you don't get plagiarized you must be a bad writer. A lot of people who are plagiarized aren't great writers. One doesn't equal the other.
Haha I guess I'm just here to say that I commend you in your intelligent and calm response to her. She is clearly an internet troll who likes to piss people off. See you on PH!

Wow, I really love this idea! A lot of fantasy (both on this site and in bookstores) is overly Arthurian or a Tolkien rip-off, so I love encountering original, intriguing plots like this.
My only critiques (solely constructive, I swear; like I said, I'm really liking this): I'm getting some of the names confused (like when they start with the same letter, or how 'Aidan' and 'Teagan' rhyme). This is partially because I just don't know the characters very well yet, but that's just something to watch out for, if only to avoid confusion.
Can't wait to read the rest :)

this is my favorite out of all your other stories :)

but I want you to take comfort that there are people on Fictionpress who are nothing like the jerks you mentioned in your profile
Did you know there was a petition going around so works on Fictionpress could not be copied and pasted?
All of the authors who left have earned quite a following :)
on a lighter note, I really enjoy the descriptions you give to everything.
not too much that it's tedious
but just enough so the reader can enjoy exactly what the author is expressing
this is my favorite out of all your other stories :)

I was really into it when suddenly the next chapter had that on it.. Sigh, and there really aren't that many good stories anymore that I haven't read yet.. Yours was one of the best..

I understand and respect your choice and reasoning but if you ever do repost it online I would love to have that link. I started reading the first chapter of Illusoire and went yeah this is the story I read before then saw it was removed and was like :O.
But I can see why you have done it and hate the fact that people can't be bothered thinking of their own stuff.
I'm not great at creating stuff though I can spin on someone else's idea, I leave this stuff for my job to make a more efficient system, to take a writing, a work of creativity is just immoral.
Why would you take a piece of art and try and make it your own, it's part of the originator not the thief, stupid people, make me angry. I wouldn't expect anyone to draw the stuff I draw or write the poetry I write, it's part of me not them to abuse.
Oh well just so you know your writing was fantastic and even if you only write to keep in your books in a cupboard at home don't stop writing you have a great skill, I'm suprised you aren't published but you sound like you have a busy life, Take care ::D

I want to say that I really loved what you wrote on your author's page. It made complete sense, it was well-written, and I understand you completely (and I am not saying that I have been in your position). But, and I am not questioning you or anything, is it ethical to kind of use somebody's idea to write a story after reviewing them to ask their permission to use it? I have an account on fanfiction in which someone wrote a story through blogs and emails and etc. I used that idea, not the story, but the idea. Is that plagiarizing? Because I did also kind of use the idea she used (not the blog-form story idea), but the boarding school, gossiping-through-blog scenario she had. And, at the same time, the scenario gets used very often. so it is all very confusing.
Then, if that isn't bad enough, she never replied to my review so I had no idea if I could use it or not. But then I used it, when I maybe should not have.
So what's your opinion here?

ive only read the first chapter but it seems awsome. im mad at myself because ive seen this story for some time but kept waiting till later and now its gone. but if u publish ill be sure to buy it cuz this first chapter gave me a good idea that the book will be one of the best.
