I liked this. It kept my attention the entire way through. I like some of the details you put in that a writer woudln't normally think of, such as when you mentioned the listener's ear being pierced. You did really well with the ending, it really completed this piece.

Let me just tell you that this is a very very very weird poem for me, because it frames exactly the way I feel about my best friend. Exactly. It's amazing. You caputered the way a really relivant person will take everything you say to heart, listen, for real. And you love them like crazy because they give you time no one else seems to have.
This is truely a beautiful peice of work.
