Well, this is really funny. I think my favorite part of this piece was the number of synonyms you found for "crotch". I also liked the tone of the whole thing- matter of fact, disguised as an article or announcement, but it was clear where the bias was leaning.
Another nice piece is the way you describe Ruth. Her laugh like a seagull (XD, and nicely done to boot), her crepuscular hair (I never thought I'd be grateful for French class), the color of her skin... Also, a nice touch, telling so much of her perspective. Putting us in her shoes...
And about the plot... doing it in school... very nice. Of course she doesn't get in trouble.
A real shame about the ending, though. I was hoping for surgery.
