I really enjoyed this - I thought it was great having her meet a hit man for her husband on a bridge, as in so many romantic movies there's the classic scene with lovers on a bridge. The descriptions were brilliant and really added to the atmosphere, drawing you in. I know its a one-shot, but you've set a good base for a longer story here too :)

I loved the ending of this story! Its one of those that on some levels you have to draw your own conclusion, but the answer is right there. I didn't like some of the parts like just your description could have been from her viewpoint instead of a narrative aspect, and you could have proofread better but other than that it was wonderful!
