Good job with this chapter! Dom doesn't seem so bad at times but I still prefer Cole. I hope that's the direction you're going in with this. The date isn't so bad so far. He's acting okay right now. And I love gelato by the way. It tastes really good. Also, if you have any time, could you please check out my new story? It's really short because it was a school assignment and there is a limit on how much to write. I'd really appreciate it if you read it though.

This is a really great story. It's well written, and has a good plot with likable characters.
I'm on the Cole side, since you said people should pick. Quite firmly on his side, actually.
Also, a question; exactly how old are Lexi and Cole? I noticed that at the beginning you mentioned that she was eight and he was ten, so I'm guessing that he's two years older than her, whatever their ages are. Also, Cole can drive, so he must be sixteen or older. And then you mentioned that when Eric was thirteen, Lexi was around nine. And Eric's eighteen. So would that make her fourteen? My guess goes to Lexi: fourteen/fifteen, Cole: sixteen/seventeen. However, that was just an educated guess. I would like to know exactly what their ages are.
Can't wait for more! =)

Amazing. :) I really liked getting to see a little more of Dom's personality, and this chapter helped me to actually like him a little more. I still prefer Cole with Lexi, but I do like Dominic as a person now too. There's so much about him to figure out! He's such an enigma. And I can't wait for more. XD XD XD XD XD

ok, so as you explained to me, i understand how it couldn't be the ending becuase things would just keep going in circles, i only hope that you can take the same approach in ending it because it was really good, altho i hope u do not end it soon because i REALLY lik this story.
as for this chapter, i really enjoyed it. the feeling between dom and lexi was just sensational, i could really feel the inner conflict and struggle in lexi (altho that could b b/c i get overly involved in stories :P)
keep up the good writing, ur doing a phenomenal job :)

*Okay so here's what I find confusing...
1. The characters are really confusing to keep in track (for me) and I keep forgetting who is who.
2. I want to know more about Cole and Lexi's relationship.
3. Some parts of the story, like last chapter when they were apologizing, I don't know why that was there.

Yea... Eric got worse. *shakes head* He is like an incorrigible child. The question is, is he trying to actually help Lex?
I do have to say... "Ah... family. Wonderful, no?" I love that Uncle Dwight and Lex's father just left her and Eric to duke it out.
Dom is becoming more complex. He is always hiding something and, with me, I can't tell what... but I know what, as if it is on the tip of my tongue. Does that make since?
So, Lexi has 'figured out' all she needs to? Now, that leaves me wanting more and wondering what exactly will happen next.

I don't know what it is, but for some reason, I just REALLY like reading this- you've got a creative mind. It makes this all the more interesting! ^^
I really like the Eric complications- it makes things hilarious! XD I also like how Dom seems so mysterious, but for all I know, maybe that's just me interpreting it all wrong- either way, I really like it. It shows an interesting side of him.
Anyway, I really can't wait to read more- this made my day! :D

Haha! I love the interaction between Cole and Lex at the beginning of the chapter... *shakes head* Those drunken pirates make people do some very weird things.
Man, Eric is such a... freak. Not in a bad way, he is a good character so far, he is just odd. I mean, he goes along with Lexi, not even beginning to deny, that he is egotistical. That leads me to believe, that he is the most self-centered character so far. *nods*
Lexi's 'rents are really good together and you get a sweet little glimpse of that. Uncle Dwight... yea, I already love 'em. Aw! Cole and Lexi had a little kiss; even if they did call each other freaks. Love it. :3
Eh, I love all of Atwater-Rhodes books to date. She is one of the authors that really got me into reading in the first place. My other favorites include, but not limited to, the Gemma Doyle trilogy, the Fablehaven series, all of Stephenie Meyer's books, Annette Curtis Klauses' books, Cynthia Letitich Smith's books, Holly Black's series Tithe, etc. etc. My favorite book ever though, has to be one that was originally on here. It is called 357 Things We Are Not Allowed To Do by Breana Hummel.
Your character's carry this intensity within their lives. It is different in every case. Dom, for example, has this lock on personality that you come to expect for his character; he goes for what he wants and doesn't exactly give up all too easily. If you want me to tell you how each character carries their intensity, you can message me.
Don't you know? Fixing stuff up that people can't understand is funny! Especially when they look at you oddly and you can tell they almost want to ask... I get a kick out of it at least.

ok, so i'm reviewing again :) well, i have to say, with the end of chapter 13, i felt it was really closing, you know, with her having a revelation of how much she really is cared about, i wasn't expecting for you to keep adding to the story, but i'm delighted that you have updated, i really like the story! i had kind of mixed emotions abot chapter 14, it seemed a little out of character for lex, but i understand that she's "changing" and i'm waiting to ride the current and see if i lik this new her or not. i think having the cousins come was unexpected, it offers a lot more new conflicts that could arise and i'm really loving the pressure of Dom and Lex's tension, it's like just waiting for a firecracker to go off, and i'm really hoping to see a big bang with it! Love the story, you're a realy great writer!
