Gah... slow computer... anyway. Such a romantic yet sad little poem. It turned out nicely, even if it isn't what you had intended it to be. I hate it when that happens- poems or stories get away from you. :D That's what happened to... oh... one of my poems... sad day, I can't remember the name of it. Oh well. Oh! The Land of Despair and Dreams. I think that's the one.
But enough of my rambling. Nice poem :)

I really like this! It pertains to my life a lot. Honestly? I admit I'd pick the happy lie, just because at the moment I'm living the painful truth and it's, to be inarticulate and redundant but accurate... really painful. But I do see exactly what you mean. It's a very simple but well-worded piece.
