I really had fun reading this. It was awsome, I swear. The last chapters were the best, mostly 'cause a lot of shit happened. And the CIA thing was, I don't know, cool? really interesting?... I think that sometimes I don't know how to use english adjetives, at least not well. Anyway, I loved the couple and both characters; and obviously all the conspirancy stuff. Ha, I absolutely loved this story.

Okay so I just started reading your story and most of the time I review stories once I get to the last chapter but I can't help it, I need to review this one. Since I started reading, I've laughed really bad and I've been so caught in it, but this one was my favorite. It made my heart ache at the gay talk they had! IDRSIFUHSDIGF I LOVED IT. Like I mean, I can't stand straight pairings when I read online because like... I want to be a boy and not a straight boy, I want to be a gay boy. Seriously. Like that's my goal for my next life. I'm seriously comming back as a gay boy. I alread talked God into it. (LOL I'm not even religious XD Well, I believe in God and Jesus and all that but I'm not religious, like I don't follow the standarts of any religion, I don't believe in Church or the Bible.. or well, not in all of it. And I'm bisexual so I'm pretty into the LGBT community and I hate when religious people hate on 'em or on anyone for the matter, I hate haters (I know that doesn't make sense but whatever)) Oh yeah! I relate so much with Nate! Hahahaha we think almost exactly the same! Hahahha I'm hilarious like that XD Okay okay, I won't say anymore until I finish the story... or so I hope O-O
Buhbai!
Pats.
P.D: I won't add the story to my faves until I finish it because sometimes I start reading and I love it but end up hating it in the end, by I put you in my fave authors because you write pretty damn good and now I'm rambling an I should stop. SHUT UP MY BABBLING ME.

I really enjoyed this story. Due to length, I'm going to cut it into three sections and discuss each seperately. The first section goes from the beginning until the satellite is dropped at Crisler's. This section is, on it's own, stunning. The characters are deftly described, and each seems to have a life of his own. I find Nate to be hilarious, in a way that seems effortless rather than forced or contrived. Jesse Jones is anything but the typical love interest, and again, he breathes with a life of his own. Even side characters who given little attention by the story are intriguing and full.
In the second section, the story loses a lot of it's narrative energy, and becomes a more rambling exploration of Nate's life. In spite of this, we get to see more aspects of Bethlehem and environs, get to know the characters better, and sink into their world. It's hard to say when the second section becomes the third, but the point of no return would be when Eric turns on Nathan.
The third section is pretty bad. It's no trainwreck, but the carefully constructed characters fall apart, acting in ways that are baffling and out of keeping with what we know about them. The plot becomes more forced. The ending is a complete Deus ex Machina. Ultimately, the whole fabric of the story that we have become invested in is unravelled. As they leave Bethlehem, we get a sense that they are simply fading out of existence, all of them.
However, as a whole, this story is an achievement. As a narrator, Nate is captivating and engaging. The story jumps and sparks with a narrative energy. The pacing is slow, but in the best way - none of the characters are in a hurry, and subsequently neither are we; we become enraptured in the common events of a small town. The world of Bethlehem has a ring of visceral reality. I'm going to go and read the rest of your stories, because this one has convinced me that you are a writer of talent.

If you published, I would buy.
Thanks for writing. Seriously. This shit is better than most pay-to-read published stuff.

Gorgeous every step of the way :D a bit long, especially when it came to all the misunderstandings between Nate and Jess, but ultimately it wraps up beautifully. Thank you so much for sharing. You are easily one of the best authors I've come across online 3

Awesome story!
I just feel sad that Eric choose to deny himself in the end... but that made it even more realistic. And i laughed so hard when u revealed the fact that the CIA actually tired to frame the russian shop keeper, but failed so miserably :D.
This story was so good it actually deserves at least a review on each chapter, but i couldn't stop to actually drop a line at the end of the chapter but had to klick 'Next' to read more first.
I liked the humor, the angst, the twist of events, everything!
Simply perfect! I wish there was more fiction out there like that.

Great story, a lot of suspense. Almost unbearable at times, but really worth the read.

Nooooo! How could he? He loves Jesse... Right...? I think it's kind of misinforming when Nate "turns" gay, since it isn't a choice... But I guess it's too late to change that now. Lynnie is such a whore... But I wonder if she does genuinely like Nate. She did blush after all. I hope she gets killed off. Rofl. Doubt it though :(
