Well for Pete's sake! I want to kill his dad and smack her! Can't they just run away to Hawaii or something? Ha ha! Oy vey, these last chapters were tough to read, but I'm guessing some goodness is on the horizon, so I'll just have to be patient.

Sorry I didn't review the last chapter - I was only about halfway though when my mum yelled at me to come and help wrap presents.
I really really really hate Mr. Deacon. It's amazing how much hatred you can feel for a fictional person.
Here's how Part 2 goes:
Maggie realises she can't live without Brian.
She calls in Gretchen, Dan and Greg.
They go to Nevada.
They steal Brian.
Maggie and Brian get married.
The End.
Oh, and somewhere along the line something really bad happens to Mr. Deacon.
Ta dah!

I DON'T CARE. you're going to update this story like right now. with a happier chapter. just slightly happier would be enough. you can't let this pause on a sad note! NO!

Holy shitballs. That was an intense ending. I have to admit, you played the guilt card well, but I felt the ending was a little predictable - I know Maggie's a selfless person and she'd want only the best for Brian, even if it meant seeing him really upset and also feeling devastated herself. This was really one of the most pernicious chapters I've read, but ironically, it's a romantic novel... so there isn't exactly much destruction in it, but again, like I've mentioned, if you look at Brian and Maggie, it's a hell of an Armaggedon situation with their hearts.
I look forward to the next future update on the journey of Brian and Maggie. I can't understand why the life of me is so anxious to find out what happens later, but I can't help it. I'm a sucker for happy endings, but not the sugarcoated or superficial ones. Only the real, true, blows-me-away endings.
