Wow, I can sympathise a little with your teacher. I understand why they would neglect giving you a response: how can anyone truly comment on a story this powerful? That being considered, I'll do my best all the same!
First I have to make about the emotion. The appeal behind the writing was so strong; I haven't read anything that pulls my heart strings so forcefully in a long time. And quickly jumping out of review mode, I'm glad you've pulled past the difficulties in your life.
But back to the story! The two central metaphors were brilliant. The depth at which the properties of the china dolls and jigsaw puzzles can be related to their corresponding life problems is fabulous. The personal element of the first person combined author/protagonist was perfect for this sort of story (and as the story was based on your own life experiences, what other way could it have been done? =P). The memories and self-conscious questions were cleverly mingled with the narrative text.
Anyway, I hope I haven't bored you with my overly long, literary review. Thanks for the read, and congratulations on a truly incredible emotional journey.

Nobody has reviewed this yet? =/ What the bloody fuck!
Ok, I didn't have time to write a review as I went and if I did it'd go on forever. There were far too many outstanding lines in this for me to ever quote them.
I really can't think of anything to say to this; it is the most astounding and touching story about self-harm and suicide that I've ever read. And they aren't topics you can easily talk about. I was beyond amazed. At 14...fucking hell, HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU SO GOOD?
You are an incredible author and this was amazing, I'm REALLY sorry it took me so long to review, I was caught up in things. But I'm glad I've read it now.
And I thought you were underappreciated but...OVER 500 REVIEWS FOR YOUR BIG STORY! JESU CHRISTO!
I would totally read that btw, but...there is one problem with it for me...it is het. I just can't bring myself to read het :-(. I'M SORRY SWEETIE! But I'll happily read your other stuff ^^.
LOVE YOU AND SORRY FOR THE DELAY AGAIN!
